  1. Jack Niewold

Steve and I lived next door to one another for most of our young years, and he and I spent countless hours playing in our respective yards and riding our bikes around Sycamore. He and I were rivals in many ways. His electric trains were always Lionels, mine were American Flyers. He had a cocker spaniel, while I had cats. In high school, he had a Chevy and I had a Ford. I shared my life with four chaotic siblings, while he was an only child. His parents, Barbara and Stan, were wonderful people. I saw him a handful of times in later years and found him gracious and generous. I will always remember him and will miss him.

Our deepest thoughts and sympathies to Bonnie and entire family. We will always be forever grateful to Steve for the beautiful addition he added on to our Center Cross home which was originally in his family. He was a perfectionist and a true craftsman and it definitely showed in detail with his work on our home. Thank you, Steve. We will never forget you.
