Richard "Rick" Allen, 61, of Rockford, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017. He was born on April 28, 1956, in Omaha, Nebraska, the son of Frederick N. Allen and Donna Jean (Meachem) Pedersen. Rick was a member of Victory Baptist Church.
Survived by his brother, Michael Allen of Newport News, VA. Predeceased by his parents; stepfather, Les; brothers, Gerald Pedersen and Brian Allen.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Victory Baptist Church, 7028 Rydberg Rd., Rockford with Alex Bugbee officiating. Memorials can be made to Victory Baptist Church, 7028 Rydberg Rd., Rockford, IL 61109.

    God bless the family, church family, and adopted Bugbee family as you grieve for your loss. We will miss seeing "Uncle" Rick at family gatherings and when we visit Victory Baptist, but we know he is not suffering anymore. Yet, one thing hasn't changed and that's his sense of humor and love. And we will miss him for that.
