Neva Huber Kelley-Paesani, 80, of Rockford, passed away October 5, 2017 in her home surrounded by family. Born April 22, 1937 in Coffeen, IL to John A. and Mildred (Crites) Huber. Neva graduated from Coffeen High School in 1955 and moved to Springfield to attend Springfield College. While in Springfield, she met James C. Kelley; they were married June 22, 1957. The couple moved to Rockford in 1966 and together owned Rockford Mercantile Agency from 1966-1993. They enjoyed traveling the world together before Jim passed away on February 16, 1992. She later married Dr. Peter A. Paesani on Sept. 17, 1997 in Longboat Key, FL. They spent many winters enjoying Longboat Key before his death on January 11, 2017. Neva was actively involved in Rockford Woman's Club, Rockford Garden Club, and Holy Family Catholic Church and she had many special friends in her Stitchers and Birthday groups.

She is survived by her children, Sheryl K. Lindmark and Sheila (Chuck) Eckermann; grandchildren, Michael James (Rebecca Hott), Kelley Danielle, and Allison Kathleen Britton; sister, Jane Mitchell of Atlanta, GA; special nephews, Jay (Denise) Mitchell of Atlanta, GA and Mark (Lisa) Mitchell of Charleston, SC; stepchildren, Paula (Jeff) Paesani Blum, Peter J. Paesani, and Patricia A. Paesani; and step-grandchild, Julia A. Blum. Predeceased by son-in-law, Greg Lindmark

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4407 Highcrest Rd. Rockford with Father Beauvais officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m. prior to the service. Private family burial in Arlington Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to OSF Healthcare, 5666 E. State St. Rockford, IL 61108.     My thoughts and prayers are with Neva and Oeters family at this time of loss. My husband pete and I enjoyed many special times with them through the years both here and on Longboat Key. Neva and I worked on many fundraisers together through the years. She was always a joy to be with and will certainly be missed. I'm grateful for the times we shared with our two special husbands both on Longboat and rockford for luncheon and balls. She will certainly be missed.
