Jason L. Ross, 32, of Rockford, passed away July 27, 2017 at Mercy Health Hospital. He was born June 26, 1985 in Rockford, the son of Terry Lee Ross and Carolyn Bennett. Jason enjoyed playing with his children, watching the Green Bay Packers and riding his ATV.

He is survived by his Fiancée, Lisa Kasper; four children, Alliya Ross, Rome Ross, Mya Hildebrand and Autumn Lopez; his mother, Carolyn Bennett, CO; Maternal grandmother, Meriel Bennett, IL; Auntie Mary Bennett, CT, Aunt Karen (Wendel), MO; Uncle Kevin Bennett, MN; Paternal grandfather, LeRoy Ross, IL; Aunt, Pam (Skip) Voss ; cousin, Ashley (Brandon Lund) Voss; best friend, Kerry Williams and Wolfpack: Shawn Leonard, Jason Matts, and Tim Henze. Predeceased by his father, Terry Ross; Maternal grandfather, Carl Bennett; two uncles, Terry and Craig Bennett; Paternal grandmother Barbara Ross and Aunt Debbie Ross.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, July 30, 2017 in Olson Funeral & Cremation Services, Ltd., Fred C. Olson Chapel, 1001 Second Ave., Rockford with Pastor Dan Herman officiating. Visitation will be Sunday prior to the service in the chapel from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Memorials in care of the family.
