Obituary

Peggy Sue Cline, 65, of Fairdale, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Kishwaukee Hospital. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Laben Brown, she was born on August 24, 1951 in Lamar, AR.
Peggy married her best friend and love of her life, Wayne F. Cline on June 29, 1974 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lindenwood, IL. Together they shared 42 years of happiness.
She was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lindenwood and was involved in the Altar Guild as well as the Ladies Aide. She had a passion for sewing, gardening, crafts, and baking. On April 9, 2015 Peggy and her husband survived a horrific tornado that swept Fairdale. She was touched by the compassion and work of the organization, One Family One Purpose who helped rebuild their home. She became very close to the volunteers of the organization and was forever appreciative for all that they did.
Peggy will best be remembered for her selfless giving and the excellent, loving care she provided her husband. She was always concerned for the needs of others and willing to help anyone in need. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Wayne F. Cline; children, Brian F. Cline and Julie A. Burtch; grandchildren, Matthew and Elizabeth Burtch; brothers, David O'dell and Ronald Johnson; sister-in-law, Loraine (Wes) Raddatz; nieces and nephews, Angie (Mike) Parisot, Dawn Kubisewski, Jeannie (Richard) Boeck, Carl O'dell and great nephews.
