Obituary

Jason Christopher Ferrara, 45, of Gilberts, IL died on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 in Journey Care in Barrington, IL. He was born on October 22, 1971 in Chicago, IL to Anthony and Kathleen (McCrickert) Ferrara. Jason was a sheet metal worker for local 265. He loved sports, camping, cars, collected hats and enjoyed making improvements around his home.
Jason is survived by his five children, Mikaela Ferrara, Jayden Ferrara, Morgan Ferrara, Justyn Ferrara, and Dominic Ferrara; his parents, Anthony and Kathleen Ferrara; his brother, Anthony M. (Michelle) Ferrara; sister, Chris (Steve) Hopkins; 8 nieces; and former spouse, Michelle R. Ferrara. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
There will be a visitation on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 33930 N. State Road, Genoa, IL from 11:00am-2:00pm. The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, after the visitation, with Reverend Jeremy Heilman officiating.

    My heart is filled with grief for Jason's children. Suzette, please know that you and Dominic will always have our love and support. We will help you raise Dom in a way Jason would be proud of.
