I worked for Gerald and ran Rockford Molded Products for him for 35 years. He was like a father to me throughout all the years. We traveled together, golfed together, we joked around, he used to call me his little buddy. We also worked hard to make Rockford Molded Products what it is today. When I used to stop by his house to see him or talked on the phone to him he also asked about the company he always would say he is proud of us and to make sure his legacy lived on. Me being one of the owners now his knowledge he taught me will live throughout my life. Gerald was a great family man, loved his kids and grandkids so much. Rockford Molded will always remember Gerald and his family. Adena and Metta you are welcome to come see the shop anytime you are like family to us and always will be. He will truly be missed by me. Rest in Peace my friend I will miss you. Till we meet again

Pam and I are saddened by Jerry's passing. We have so many fond memories of adventures with the Gustafsons and will scour our photo albums to refresh them even more. We will share those pictures if we can get email addresses for Mickey, Adena and Metta. Just to whet the whistle, think the "resort" and canoeing the Kickapoo River. We are sorry to miss the memorial service and the chance to be with you all this Saturday but we will be in Woodway(just north of Seattle) to celebrate Morgan's 4th birthday with Morgan, Zach, Carrie and Jay. All the best Jim and Pam

I am so sorry to hear about Jerry. I have worked for him for about 10 years, taking care of his flowers, bushes, etc. He was always a joy to talk to and evened called me to find out how my wife was when she had breast cancer. I will miss talking to him and it saddens me he won't be here this spring. I'm even sitting on a stool that he gave me from his garage while I write this. If there is something I can do at the house for you please do not hesitate to call me. 815-988-5245. My very sincere condolences to all. love John
