So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Ockie and Ruth were two of the kindest people we've known. Jack worked on the farm with Ockie during his last year at NIU, and I worked with Ruth at the Sycamore Bank until I had my first baby. That was 43 years ago and we have never forgotten them. Our sympathies to all of you.

  3. Tom & Shari Pearcy

Sending our love and sympathy to all of Ruth's family. We are now living in Lebanon, MO and are sorry that we will not be able to attend the services. Know that we will be thinking of you while you are celebrating her life and are in peace knowing that she no longer is suffering anything in this earthly life. God bless all!

Norm and Family, We hope you find peace in knowing that your mom is once again with your dad and the angels.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one in death is one of the most difficult things families ever have to deal with. I have personally found comfort in the scripture at John 5:28 where it talks about a time when our loved ones in the memorial tomb will come out. In line with that thought is Revelation 21:4 where it says soon "death will be no more." So soon we can look forward to a time when not only we can be with our loved ones, but we do not have to fear losing them to death ever again. If you would like to learn more about the hope for our loved ones, please visit jw.org where there is much more info on what the bible says. Again, I express my sympathies and hope this brings you comfort in this difficult time.

Mary, Vickie and Norm, My deepest sympathies. I have so many great memories coming to your house and staying the night. Some of my favorites were making chocolate chip cookies with your mom and her letting us eat most of the dough before it was cooked. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
