Obituary

Frances R. Anderson, 68, of Rockford, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017, in her home. She was born October 1, 1948, in Goodman, Mississippi; the daughter of Herbert and Mary (Salis) Redd. She graduated from Durant High School in 1965. Frances married Arthur Lee Anderson on July 2, 1966; he predeceased her April 17, 1976. Frances was a longtime member and very active in Centennial Methodist Church.
She is survived by hers sons, Kevin E. Anderson of Rockford, Terry T. Anderson of Madison, WI, and Brian (Kerri) Anderson of Minneapolis, MN; sisters, Janie Walker of Atlanta, GA, Eva Jones of Grenada, MS, and Harriett Marsh of Gulfport, MS; grandchildren, Keaton, Annabelle, Jordan, and Terry Anderson II; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2017, in Centennial United Methodist Church, 1503 Broadway St. with Rev. Fabiola Grandon-Mayer officiating. Burial in Scandinavian Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. t0 6:00 p.m. in Olson Funeral & Cremation Services, Ltd., Fred C. Olson Chapel, 1001 Second Ave. Rockford. Memorials to Centennial United Methodist Church, 1503 Broadway St. Rockford, IL 61104 or Heartland Hospice, 363 Financial Ct #300, Rockford, IL 61107.
