Budski & I go back a long time together. It probably started when he was Sunday School superintendent & my wife & I were teachers. We went to many training meetings & conventions together. Dave had great faith which showed in his church monthly newsletter entries. He was always involved with our Redeemer youth activities, whether it was Sunday night meetings, lock-ins, church picnics, etc. When our kids were in high school, we went to sport games together. When we had Pastor Carlos for the Hispanic ministry, several of us began to go out weekly for breakfast. That turned into breakfasts even after Pastor Carlos was transferred, until Dave became ill. What I'm trying to say is that I considered him a good friend and am sad that he has passed. He was a man of good character, knew his God, and walked the talk. Our prayer is that during this time, the Lord in his grace & mercy, would give the family the "Peace that Passes all understanding."
