So sorry to learn of your mom's passing. It is never easy saying goodbye to a parent, but her memories will be in your hearts forever. What a blessed heritage the Michalsen family has and now it is our turn to continue that legacy. My dad, Enoch and your dad, Ray were cousins. I remember going with my dad to visit National Appliance. Special memories. We would later see your mom out and about usually at a restaurant. It was fun chatting with her . She was a special friendly lady and will be missed by many.

  6. Rev. Dr. Richard A. Wang

I so enjoyed my several visits with Marion over the years. I appreciated her many recollections of Kedzie Church (Norwegian-Danish M.E.) and of the N-D Fellowship (the banquets of which she and Ray were the registrars for so many years; her relationship with Lois and, of course Harold, their closeness and candor together. There was a memorable visit of the two of them, Marion and Lois at Lake Ripley, several years ago. The time Ray and Marion, Harold and Lois, Ray and Astrid Nerhus, Hermann and Marge Johnsen gathered at the Our Master's parsonage with Jeanine and myself and my brother Donald. We shared about so many of thse Norwegian-Danish pastors and families and folks of those churches. All these and others are very special memories to me and it gladdens my heart to know that she has joined now that vast host of many faithful witnesses and has gone to share the blessings of the Lord's saints in Glory. Thanks be to God.

  10. Sally Brodsky

I can't forget our last get-together at my brother, Bob Singer's. We all went to a casino and played on a machine (I don't know what it's called, and I never could learn to play on it). Aunt Marion won. With her winnings she took us all to lunch. She had the best sense of humor...always made me laugh, and she always had such a good disposition. Even though I live far away and rarely saw her, I am so sad she's no longer with us.
