Phyllis was a wonderful friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a part our family when we were all together at Grace Lutheran Church and continued our friendship for many years after that. Phyll touched the lives of so many and we are all better for knowing her. Our prayers are with you all as you celebrate a wonderful life so well lived. I speak for all my family. Prayers Barbara

  2. Elizabeth (Beth) Benson

I remember making many a stop at her place in La Grange through the years. My mom, sister, and I went back on the Amtrack train from CA many summers to visit my Grandparents (Oscar & Evelyn Hult) in La Porte IN. She picked us up quite a few times. I also stayed with her the night before I went on a semester in Washington DC in college. She was kind enough to visit Evelyn regularly after Oscar died. I know my grandmother always really appreciated that! When we came to La Porte we always visited Albert & Marie in Gary & enjoyed those times as well! Thank you for some wonderful memories!

  3. Marilyn Hult Benson

I appreciate how Phyllis's letters kept me up to date over the years. We had fun being camp counselors at Camp Augustana in Lake Geneva, WI. She was the Sr Counselor, and she taught me what to do as her Jr. Counselor. She will be missed!

  4. Christine Hult-Lewis

Our branch of the Hults were based in California, so we didn't get to see the Indiana/Illinois Hults as much as we would have liked. Whenever I did see Phyllis, however, it was always a joy. She was a caring woman, an interesting conversationalist, and an all around wonderful human. I will miss her.

  5. The Missouri Hults

Always a joy to have Phyllis at our house for the holidays! More memories than space permits!
