Joan was beautiful both inside and out. She was equal parts kind and fun. Her bright spirit and quick wit were an unexpected 1-2 punch, that would leave you smiling for days. I'm so sorry for your loss and the pain of navigating a world without her in it. However, how lucky we all were to know her. She made the world a better place.❤️

So sorry to hear of Joan's passing. We went to East High together along with her dear friend, Ruth Steffen. Good times back in those days with lots of fond memories. She married, Jim, who was a good friend of my husband. They were both from Belvidere.
