Obituary

James Gutshall, 69, of Rockford, passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018. Born on October 27, 1948, in Beloit, WI, the son of Robert & Catherine (Carson) Gutshall. James married Ruth Herbig on January 8, 1968 in Rockford. He was a United States Army veteran. James worked as an assembler and stamper at Chrysler Corporation - Belvidere. He was a member of the Coronado Organ Club and Blackhawk Bicycle & Ski Club.
Survived by his wife, Ruth; daughter, Tamara (Randy) Stultz of Rockford, IL; grandchildren, Timothy and Samantha Stultz and three grandchildren living out of state; four great-grandchildren; mother, Catherine Gutshall; two brothers; and one sister. Predeceased by his father, and brother, David.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 20, 2018 in Fred C. Olson Chapel, 1001 2nd Ave., Rockford. Memorials may be made to the Coronado Organ Fund, 314 N. Main St., Rockford, IL 61101-0476.
