Because of their extraordinary gifts, some students remain in their teacher's memory for a lifetime. Kevin was such a student. He possessed infinite optimism and knew what he was called to do even as a sophomore in high school. His spirit and concern for others would brighten any day. So sad to learn of his passing.

  6. Reverend Dean W. Parker

Kevin was a wonderful Funeral Director and friend! We often spoke of three important subjects to him: sports, his family and faith! Kevin was a gentle man who engaged people in conversation and had a genuine concern for their needs! He will be truly missed and he was an example of a man who cared for others coming from a deep faith he shared! Godspeed to the Wiklund family and may the comfort and strength of the Holy Spirit be evident to them in this time of need!

  7. Bob Anderson

I am deeply saddened to hear of Kevin's passing. He and I were good friends in High School. I remember going to see him at Wendt Brothers Funeral Home when he was an intern there back in our High School days. His life's dream as a kid was to be a mortician. We would listen to Kiss and other rock bands when he picked me up for school. My most heartfelt condolences to his family for their sad loss. Rest in peace Kevin. Bob Anderson

I'm saddened beyond words about Kevin's death. Our family knew Kevin's so well growing up. Our mothers were friends. We went to the same grade school and church. He and I were confirmed together, worked on the junior high school newspaper togetherâ€"it seems that we were always in the same classes. Kevin had such a fun, exuberant, happy personality. I never recall him with a frown or a negative attitude. He was always smiling. I'm so very sorry for your family's loss and our loss, too.

  16. Kent Trimble, Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, Jefferson City, Missouri

I was saddened and shocked to hear of Kevin's passing at such a young age, and extend my sincere sympathy to Mrs. Wicklund and the family. As a fellow Moliner, I became acquainted with him when he first entered funeral service there, and better acquainted when the Olson firm became members of National Selected Morticians which I sponsored and with whom Kevin was most instrumental. He was a consummate funeral professional in every sense of the word, and set a Christian example of a genuine man of faith for his sons to follow.
