Obituary

Marla K. McWilliams, 60, of Rockford passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018. Born on September 23, 1957, in Rockford, the daughter of Harry and Inez (Adolphson) Davis. Graduate of East High School, Class of 1975. Marla married Mike McWilliams on October 27, 1990. She worked for Barber Coleman for over 16 years and ran an in home daycare. Marla loved to read, play on the computer, and talk with her friends.
Survived by her husband, Mike; children, Sarah and Bradley; step-children, Katie, Tim and Jeff (Ashley); grandson, Jason; and siblings, Ray (Darlene) Davis, Donna (Walt) Boothe, and Curt (Donna) Davis. Predeceased by her parents; and sister, Janice Brustad. The family would like thank Dr. Michael McCarthy, Dr. Mark Zarnke, Dr. Abdullah Altayeh and their staff and Mercyhealth in Home Hospice.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Fred C. Olson Chapel, 1001 2nd Ave, Rockford. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service in the chapel.
