Vickie J. Carlson, 65, of Belvidere, passed away suddenly August 4, 2017. She was born September 2, 1951 in Rockford, the daughter of Adelbert E. and Dona (Whitson) Scott. Vickie married Michael Carlson. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Michael; daughters, Jennifer (Steve) Howard, Cyndi (Ryan) Carlson-Weidner, and Michele Carlson; siblings, Randy (Marsha) Scott and Ricky Scott; and her six grandchildren, Brandon, Tyler, Colin, Landon, Jayden and Emma. Vickie is predeceased by her parents.
Funeral Service will be held on August 8, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in Fred C. Olson Chapel, 1001 Second Ave., Rockford with Pastor Chuck Olson officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Memorial can be made to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.

    I am so sorry for your loss. Always enjoyed see Vickie when see would stop by to see the changes to the house. Marianne and I will keep you all in our hearts and prayers in this difficult time. Working nights at the fair don't think I will have a chance to come to the visitation.
