Tio Kike as we knew him, was a younger brother of my late mother Ramona. Tio was the Best man for my parents wedding and much more after.. He worked along side my father Michael through several jobs, Como Inn, Louigis, United Airline and maybe even others.. He was the first and only uncle I knew of for a long time. He was a jolly soul and always so caring and helpful. He help paint the ceilings in our Bell Avenue apartment, made time to play a little catch with my brothers and always offering some change to us for ice cream or candy.. I can still see his smile even in his lasting days. Just as they were when he would come for quick visits.. Tio always brought laughter and cheer to our family, especially my mom. I never seen my moms tummy bounce as much when he was around.. Tio is dearly loved and will remain with us throughout and through these memories and others not mentioned here.. May he Rest In Peace with our other family members in heaven. His parting is such sweet Sorrow, our condolences to Aunt Bruna and our cousins. Rick, Lisa, Bob and Linda..

Uncle Henry & I practically grew up together. Grand-mother still had 2 of her unmarried children (one being Uncle Henry) still at home. As a young child between the ages of 2-4, I was grandmother's flying companion from Puerto Rico to Chicago so i spent a great deal of time with them. This continued until I was 6 yrs old when I was getting ready to go to school in Puerto Rico. Next thing I know in 1957 Grand-mother brought my very pregnant Mother & 6 other children to live in Chicago. My uncle Henry was only 20 years old when he took on the role of provider in order to help grandmother with what was needed for all of us until Mom had her 7th child which was named after Uncle Henry. This is what made him such a wonderful father. He loved unconditionally. Never complained, & always had his sleeves rolled up for the next challenge. He was always there for us until Mom moved on in life with her new partner. Uncle Henry always had a special place in Mom's heart. From him we learned that family is everything. We knew when he married & had his children that he would be the father that he was to us. Always with a positive attitude, always smiling. Thank you Uncle Henry for all you did for us. I know you are smiling down on your family. May you rest in peace! Till we meet again.

What a wonderful man! He will be missed by all. Sorry for your loss. It is hard to lose a loved one but we have hope of a resurrection. Revelation 21:4 " And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."
