Obituary

Betty Coleman, 90, of Rockford, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018 in her home. Born on March 9, 1928, in Hatton, Arkansas, the daughter of Clyde and Bertha (McClaine) Harvey. Betty married Paul Coleman on August 10, 1944. He predeceased her on August 24, 2004.
Survived by her children, Janice (Donald) Pevestorf of Des Moines, IA, Shelby Coleman and, Sara Whitlock of Rockford, and Valli (Ray) Dittman on Marengo, IL; nine grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and special family friend, Cheryl May. Also predeceased by her daughter, Paula Ganzel; brothers, Leland, Al and Glen Harvey; sisters, Nade Beaty and Lorene; and great-grandson, Payton.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 14, 2018 in Fred C. Olson Chapel, 1001 2nd Ave, Rockford with Reverend Peter Dibley officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service in the chapel.

    It has been almost 3 months since you left. Mama I don't know if the pain of the loss of you will ever go away. I hurt and cry as bad as the day we lost you and so does Sara, Jan, Valli. Til we are all together with Jesus we send you our love.
