I was saddened to learn of Marlys' passing. I worked with Marlys at Rockford Surgical and always enjoyed our time together. We drank afternoon coffee and loved to talk about our children. I enjoyed receiving Christmas cards from Marlys every year and appreciated hearing from her. May God bless you in this time and may Marlys Rest in Peace.

My deepest sympathies are for your family at this time. It is hard to put into words the emotion and pain we feel. Our most fondest memories can bring us much comfort as well as the memories that others share can bring us joy. However, there is one source of comfort that can give us a real hope. Isaiah 25:8, says God will eliminate death forever and wipe the tears from our faces. May the hope of someone who always fulfills their promises be a source of true comfort for you.

  8. Marilyn Diane Board

Mrs. Marlys Goodin touched my life through her loving & devoted daughter, Laura. Mrs. Marlys helped us get our classrooms set up at the beginning of the school year & was there to assist us as we closed out the school year. Her love of learning & her strong work ethic overflowed to bless our classes all year long. Family as you grieve, remember the hope we have in Christ, that to be absent from the body is to be present with The Lord. May the peace, comfort, & joy of The Lord be yours now & always.
